Orlando AN
Dual channel analog video frame grabber and video output board
The Orlando AN consists of two analog video input ports and two analog video output ports. The Orlando AN can be configured in a flexible way e.g.:
Frame grabber: to acquire video of two cameras at the same time. It is also possible to fuse both images to one capture.
Video output board: to display images of the host.
Video in-to-out board: to display incoming video data with e.g. video overlay generated by host (e.g a logo, annotation, date). Picture-in-picture with the 2nd video input is possible too.
Video scaling at the incoming video signal and adding video overlay can be done on board.
Orlando CL
Camera Link frame grabber
The orlando CL frame grabber is the solution for Camera Link video acquisition. The Camera Link interface acquires the incoming video frames. These frames will be stored in the on board memory before transferring to host. The on board timers can be used to trigger the camera by a signal on one of the Camera Link Control signals. The General Purpose inputs can be used to start video acquisition, start a timer, trigger the camera etc.
The on board UART or the RS232 connector can be used to get serial communication with the camera.
The orlando™ CL product line comes in PCI Express® and PC/104-plus form factor.
Colory
Framegrabber for PCI and PC/104
The colory framegrabber models are the perfect choice for entry-level imaging applications. All basic features are available and the acquired video can be displayed with an excellent image quality. TM The colory analog framegrabber acquires PAL, NTSC and SECAM video, both in CVBS and Y/C. The standard PCI and PC/104plus (32bit/33MHz) boards are PCI 2.2 compliant.
TM The colory offers an on board realtime video scaler and color space converter. The boards operate as DMA master on the PCI bus to avoid host processor load. TM R R The colory is supported for Windows , Linux and QNX . Open source sample program code is available to ensure a quick start for the application programmer.
Leonardo LS
LVDS digital video (RS-422/RS-644)
The leonardo LS line is the real solution for fast LVDS digital video acquisition and realtime processing of the incoming video data. The product line comes in a PCI and a Compact PCI model based on a very strong architecture.
The common digital video interface is RS-644 (optionally RS-422) compatible, with up to 40 bits data. A dual channel mode is offered to acquire two independent 16 bit video input streams. The computer bus interface is electrically compatible with PCI 2.2 and mechanically with standard PCI and Compact PCI. The bus interface is PCI-X compatible (64 bit/66 Mhz), resulting in an extreme transfer rate of 528 MB/s on the computer bus.
The leonardo is equiped with a state of the art Xilinx FPGA, offering realtime preprocessing of the video data, such as e.g. contrast stretching in gray value domain with LUT, RGB mosaic color restoration and random 2D convolution filters. The video data is stored in a large on board memory. The maximum image resolution is 64k x 64k pixels.
The leonardo LS family is supported for Windows , Linux, Realtime Linux, Solaris and QNX .
Leonardo CL
CameraLink (Dual) Base-Medium-Full
The leonardo line is the real solution for fast CameraLink digital video acquisition and realtime processing of the incoming video data. The product line comes in several PCI, CompactPCI and PMC models based on a very strong architecture.
The common digital video interface is CameraLink compatible, the formats ranging from Base, via Medium to Full CameraLink . The computer bus interface is electrically compatible with PCI 2.2 and mechanically with standard PCI, Compact PCI and PMC. The bus interface is 64 bit/66 MHz, resulting in an extreme transfer rate of 528 MB/s on the computer bus.

The video data is stored in a very large on board memory. The maximum image resolution is 64k*64k pixels.
On the CL-P model an on board 600 MHz 64-bit RISC processor is available, with 4 MByte zero-waitstate SRAM cache memory. The RISC processor is specified as a 1080 Drystone 2.1 MIPS@600MHz. The RISC processor is available for general purpose application specific on board video processing.
The leonardo CL family is supported for Windows , Linux, RT Linux, RT Linux Pro and QNX . The RISC processor is C programmable (CL-P model only).
Opticlink CL-Base
Fiber-optic video transmission system
The OpticLink CL-Base set is the solution for long haul and for secure CameraLink digital video transmission. The CL‑Base model is part of the second generation of opticlink , including a 10 years experience with first generation sets used in all kind of applications, all over the world. Please note that ARVOO Imaging Products is the inventor of opticlink . For CameraLink digital video transmission, a copper cable can be used upto a few meters distance between camera and frame grabber. This is too short for many real world applications. The opticlink set offers the solution by bridging a distance of upto tens of meters, hundreds of meters or even kilometers based on an optical fiber connection. The OpticLink CL-Base is the only solution for reliable video links for security systems and harsh environments, since fiber optic communication cannot be monitored or distorted by electromagnetic noise or radiation. The OpticLink CL-Base accepts CameraLink Base digital video and is fully transparent for the data transmission. The CL-Base is housed in a strong metal enclosure and can be used in industrial environments. For more rugged solutions, please contact ARVOO Imaging Products BV.
