M-Max VT Rugged VersaTainer-based Conduction-Cooled Systems Family The M-Max VT is a rugged EBX and PC/104 system designed mostly for on-board applications. It is constructed of .125″ aluminum and is ready to be used in harsh environments. It features a dual system of shock and vibration protection comprised of internal rubber corner rails which absorb high-frequency vibrations, while a thick rubber pad between the enclosure and the host platform absorbs low-frequency G-forces. The rubber pad may be removed for other mounting solutions. The M-Max VT cross section measures 7.10″ wide by 5.70″ high (not including mounting pad). The system is available in standard lengths from 4″ to 12″ and custom lengths up to 48″. The M-Max VT can be used in the harshest environments in the mining, transportation, military, and aerospace industries. The system and its standard accessories are RoHS compliant. The M-Max VT system is compatible with the following M-Max platforms: PR5 Platform, PR7 Platform, AR Platform, EP4 Platform.
M-Max PD 2
M-Max PD 2 Rugged Pandora-based Conduction-Cooled Systems Family The M-Max PD 2 is a compact lightweight rugged system in which the number of internal cables is reduced to the minimum. The use of this approach considerably speeds up the assembly process and improves reliability and ruggedness because most or all internal cables can be eliminated. The entire stack doesn’t require any special corner mounts or guides and is bolted directly to the front plate of the case, forming a rugged, easily-handled assembly. One end cap of the M-Max PD 2 system serves as a base plate for the PC/104 stack with the panel I/O board on the top of the stack. Once the stack is complete, it is inserted into the enclosure and bolted into place directly to both the top and the bottom of the enclosure via convenient mounting holes for extra rigidity. The M-Max PD 2 system is compatible with the LP Platform.
M-Max 640 LP
M-Max 640 LP Rugged Industrial Computer with Low Power Consumption The M-Max 640 LP is a rugged industrial computer with an extremely low power consumption level (4W). The ruggedized aluminum chassis is fanless and utilizes passive cooling. The sealed enclosure is designed specifically for PC/104 form factor boards. Providing shock and vibration protection, the M-Max 640 LP can operate under extreme temperatures from −40 to +70 °C, dust and humidity. It is equipped with an 800 MHz Quad Core ARM CPU and also features 2D and 3D graphics capabilities via VGA interface. Data storage options include industrial grade SSDs.

M-Max 700 PR/APR High Performance Rugged Flight Control Computer The M-Max 700 PR/APR is a compact high-performance rugged computer. It is designed to operate as part of a helicopter equipment distributed control system. An internal heating and temperature control system allows the computer to operate in extremely harsh environments in a wide temperature range. The M-Max 700 PR/APR features a vast amount of I/O interfaces (168) including CAN, Fast Ethernet and ARINC which is unsurpassed in this compact enclosure. The computer has no moving parts and utilizes a passive cooling system. Along with an independent internal elements damping system it ensures the highest level of reliability. M-Max SW21X/PS Rugged Gigabit Ethernet Switch M-Max SW21X/PS is a ruggedized 12/14/16-Port Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2+ Managed Switch providing reliable operation in tough environments including transportation (ground, rail, air and marine), agriculture, and mining and processing. It accepts a wide power supply voltage input, and is tested and guaranteed over temperature range of −40 to +75°C. Its rugged enclosure is designed according to VITA75 footprint. Extended salty fog protection is also available upon request. The rugged switch complies with MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-704F. The M-Max SW21X/PS has up to sixteen 10/100/1000 Mbps copper twisted pair ports. Support for control and management is through web interface, and host processor access through a Command Line Interface (CLI). It accepts a wide power supply voltage input, and is tested and guaranteed over temperature range of −40 to +75°C. Its rugged enclosure is designed according to the VITA75 footprint. The SW216 has sixteen 10/100/1000 Mbps copper twisted pair ports. Support for control and management is through web interface, and host processor access through a Command Line Interface (CLI).
