Blue Heat/Net 16 Ethernet-to-serial device Remotely access devices with the Blue Heat/Net 16 Ethernet-to-serial device. Blue Heat/Net 2 Ethernet-to-serial device This compact Ethernet-to-serial device is designed to operate under the harsh conditions found on the factory floor or wherever rugged, reliable communications are required. Offering two ports of software selectable RS-232/422/485 connectivity, the Blue Heat/Net 2 can locate COM ports anywhere on your Ethernet LAN allowing you to remotely control your serial peripherals from any connected workstation or via the Internet from anywhere in the world. This Ethernet-to-serial device is designed for wall or DIN rail mounting and operates within an industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F). It offers flexible DC power input from 5V DC to 30V DC and optional Power over Ethernet (PoE) with screw terminal power connectors. It also includes MDI/MDIX auto-detect to allow straight-through or crossover Ethernet cables. The Blue Heat/Net 2 Ethernet-to-serial device eliminates the need for a dedicated PC, cutting equipment expenses and time required to monitor information from individual workstations. Bi-directional data speeds up to 7.8 Mbps (RS-422/485) ensure your data acquisition, office automation, POS, self-service kiosk or scientific/instrumentation applications communicate in a reliable, cost-effective manner. BlueStorm/Express LP is compatible with x1, x4, x8 and x16 lane PCI Express slots. BlueStorm/SP RJ-11
BlueStorm/SP RJ-11 Serial communications board BlueStorm/SP RJ-11 offers hardware flexibility and adaptability for your mission critical applications. The BlueStorm/SP RJ-11 is an extension of the BlueStorm product family and is available as a standard card only. BlueStorm/SP RJ-11 offers eight ports of RS-232 serial connectivity. Each port can be configured independently for baud rate, parity, data and stop bits. Eliminate the need for external power supplies with the +5 VDC or +12 VDC of power provided on six RJ-11 ports for applications where peripherals may require it (up to 300mA total). Two DB-9 connectors are also accessible via an optional cable assembly. BlueStorm/SP RJ-11 is compatible with 3.3V and 5V PCI slots.
